Student: Jenn Marsh
Class Year: Junior
Major: English
Scholarship: Study Abroad

“Because I am a part of the Honors Program, I had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica this summer with the Geology and Environmental Science Departments. The trip opened my eyes to the importance of conservation efforts around the world and helped me meet incredible people.”

Students: Samantha West (English) & Sariah Backer (Nursing)
Scholarship: Conference Travel

“I presented at the last two Western Regional Honors Conferences, and each time I attended, I met Honors students from different universities, saw the work other students completed, and came home inspired and motivated. Not only does an Honors Conference look great on a resume, but it will change the way you think. It’s an experience I would recommend to any Honors student.”

–Samantha West
