Admission Requirements

We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about applying to the Booth Honors Program at Dixie State University. This page will help explain the admissions process.

New Freshmen

Entry is competitive and only applicants who meet the following criteria will be considered for admission to the Honors Program:

  • High school GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • ACT composite score of 28 or higher

The Honors Program application is one of the most important components in determining a student’s fit for the Honors Program. The application requires an essay of approximately 300 words, which provides an opportunity for students to express why they want to join the Booth Honors Program at DSU. We recommend that you compose your essay in a word-processing program. Please check for spelling and grammatical errors.

Students may submit an application to the Honors Program after receiving admission to DSU. There is no application deadline, but applications received after April 1st will not receive priority registration for the following Fall semester.
